Patricks/ J.Allen's player of the week goes to Taylor Knight!

SDA's u15 girls secured a point in their 1-1 tie against FC Boston Scorpions as GK Taylor Knight proved very difficult to beat.

Taylor, who has kept four clean sheets this season, dominated her penalty area and attacked crosses with aggression in what was a very accomplished performance.

Girls Coach Rich Powell was quick to praise his goalkeeper. "Taylor has really matured this season" he said. "I know she works hard at GK training and its no surprise that the results have followed". "Her positioning, organization and bravery has kept us in many games this season and she has played a massive part in a number of our results" he said. "She is very confident and quick of her line". She also dealt with a number of high balls today in difficult conditions for a GK and I think to be able to do that is a sign of a good keeper" he said.

Taylor, who is the eldest sister of fellow GK Molly Knight, also drew compliments from Coach Dan Evans. "I have been impressed with her attitude in GK Training and it was good to see that come to effect today" he said. "Myself and Coach Meg have worked hard with her but its easy because of how coachable she is". "She is quick to help the younger Keepers as well and I think that shows maturity beyond her years" he said.

Taylor is the first GK to win the award and there isn't a more deserving winner after what has been a very consistent season.

She will receive a Patricks/J.Allens voucher as her award. Please collect off coach Rich.
