Concession Shifts

Please read below a message from the Concession Director regarding concession shifts, treat tickets and product.

Concession shifts:

It is required that each team works ONE concession shift throughout the season. These are assigned by the Concession Director and they will work with the game schedule so you are not conflicted to miss your son/daughters game. You had the option to “opt out” of working your teams concession shift when signing your player up; this means Edgewood then hires someone to fill your spot during your teams shift time. If you did not opt out, you are REQUIRED to report for your teams concession shift. This will be tracked on a sign in/out sheet. Shifts start at 5:45pm during the week and vary on Saturdays; you can find this information on the spreadsheet that is attached. If you do not report for your scheduled shift, consequences will be forced upon the player having to serve a game suspension. Masks will be required while working inside the concession stand. Hair must also be tied back due to preparing food. Workers must be 16 or older to work in the concession stand. Workers change every single day, please bare with the workers in being patient and respectful when ordering/waiting on your order.

Opt Out Options:
Available 1 week after Master schedule is posted

Treat Tickets:

Treat tickets will be available for each team each day, ONE per player. Treat tickets are given to those players that help to clean up trash, pick up the dugout/field they played on, etc to help our fields stay clean. Treat tickets can be picked up at the “Umpire Window” on the north side of the concession stand. Treat tickets will only be given to adults. No kids will be allowed to pick up the treat tickets. Please know how many players your team has that day when picking up treat tickets so only the needed amount is given. ONE treat ticket is allowed to be used per night. Tickets can not be saved/collected to cash in later. Treat tickets can only be used on the following 3 items:
   1. Flavor ice
   2. Small soda
   3. Popcorn

We have a few new items for purchase this season: Sour Patch Kids, Butterfinger candy bar, Zero candy bar, orange Gatorade, Drumstick ice cream and Icee Ice Cream. All will be available beginning Opening Day. Our famous walking tacos will also be available beginning Opening Day.

If you were to have any questions, please feel free to contact myself or the President.

Thank you,
Valerie Winkler - Concession Director
