The Major league is a 11, 12 and 13 years old league with consideration given to 10 year olds. This league is a more advanced competitive league, where the player’s skills are more excelled.  The rules in Major league more coincide with actual baseball rules with a few exceptions.  The fields are bigger than the minor league, but age appropriate.  This league for Edgewood normally averages 8 teams.           

- Games consist of 6 innings with a time limit of 1:45 minutes

- 50 feet // pitching distance : 70 feet // base path

- All baseball rules are enforced

- Lead-offs, steals, dropped 3rd strike, infield fly rule

- 9 fielders per inning, 11-12 players per team

- Elevated mounds are used in pitching

- Pitchers are limited on innings pitch each game & week

- All bars must be stamped with the USA bat stamp regardless of barrel size
